iCare :: Service teams and missions efforts locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally

The message of Jesus Christ is one of love in action (not shallow words) and one of relationships (not hollow religion).  We believe that, and, live that out as we share the love of Jesus Christ in appropriate ways with those in our immediate community, those beyond our safe cities, and into the international sphere of our planet.

Jesus says that if we serve the least of those in our midst (even with a cup of water), it is as if we are serving Him.  We have taken that to heart and put our love into action in small, but relevant, ways locally.  We have served busy commuters with free breakfast bars at train stations, we have served tired runners free bottled water at 5K road races, we have served people free gasoline when their tanks were running low, we have served free Thanksgiving meals to those less fortunate regionally, we have provided funds for teams to go to India for the purpose of serving orphans and the poor in need, and we have provided funds an individual in our congregation to go to Egypt and serve a year in a school and orphanage.

We have done what little we could as a church with the knowledge and expectation that this is the mission of every church.  And, if every church did "what they could" then our planet could be free from the horrors of hunger, poverty, homelessnes, and disease.  As we share God's love in these real ways, His message of Hope and Eternal Salvation draws others to Himself to find the love which we share.  We are ready and willing to share that with you.
